Lanisek won Friday's qualifier in Sunday's individual competition, while Kos finished third. Zilla was 12th, and Kubak was 13th.
13 duets will start in Wisla on Saturday. 12 teams will compete in the second series, and eight will go to the third. The team with the most points after six jumps wins the competition.
After the first day of the tournament in Poland, the Slovenians are in the lead, while the Poles are in sixth place. The team classification of the series includes the results achieved in the qualifying and individual competitions in Wisła, Szczecin and Zakopane from each country, as well as the full results of the team competition in Zakopane and the duet competition in Wisła.
The duet competition was held for the first time in the 2022/23 season. Zilla and Kubaki won in Lake Placid, USA. The Fédération Internationale de Skiing (FIS) introduced this competition formula to allow federations that are unable to field four ski jumpers to compete in the team competition.
