Poland's Aleksandar Dziewa scored 14 points in an 81-72 victory over Veolia Towers in the 15th round of the German Basketball League in Hamburg. This is the ninth win of the season for the Polish team (they have one game to play).
Dzieva started the match in the top five and was on the field for 26 minutes. During that time, he made five of eight two-point shots and four of five free throws. He also had a rebound and an assist and four turnovers. Veolia's most effective basketball player was Aljami Durham with 20 points.

The Hamburg team, which competes in the European Cup on the back of the EuroLeague, is seventh in the German league table with a 9-5 record. This is 25-year-old Dzieva's first season abroad. He spent the previous five years with Śląski Wrocław, with whom he won three medals at the Polish Championships, including gold in 2022.
