DoRzeczy.pl: German farmers take to the streets in Berlin against government decisions, which deals with the federal government's unfavorable ideas as well as the EU's plans for CO2 emissions. How do you assess this fact?
Robert Tellus: First, our storage of grain in Poland meant that it went deeper into Europe and became a problem for countries like Germany. I won't say I'm happy about it because it's a long way off. However, I see this as our success.
What?
We have shown Europe that Ukrainian grain is a problem not only for frontline countries, but for the whole of Europe. This grain should go where it was before the war. The EU should be responsible for regulating this, as this is its task. However, all EU climate issues are at odds with agriculture, and I have said this many times. Climate, plant protection measures and CO2 restrictions are coming in. On the other hand, we are signing agreements with non-EU countries, as a result of which non-EU products may enter Europe. This is a wrong action by the EU. It's great that German farmers are protesting. We must support them, the whole of Europe must show solidarity here, because left-wing ideology will only bring destruction. Climate policy is wrong for European agriculture.
In your opinion, can the current Polish government follow the path of the Berlin government?
Of course. It is clear to the naked eye that Donald Tusk's government will follow the path of Berlin. The protest is against this policy. How can agricultural crops be reduced by 10 percent? Indeed, all farmers are in favor of protecting the environment and the climate, because each of us knows that if we use the soil excessively, it will not produce crops. However, this should be done with reason and logic rather than ideology by limiting crops to 10%.
