The priest noted that Jesus Christ, who entered the world in Bethlehem, in a stable, “shows us that only through love can we conquer another person and transform the world.”

“May the new year 2024 be filled with harmony, mutual respect and openness to others. May it be a time of witnessing the love that is stronger than division and misunderstanding. May the one who teaches us mutual love and respect be our guide. New Year.” – the chairman of the Episcopal Conference of Poland congratulated.

Bishop Mizinski: Let us ask the Lord for peace and reconciliation

Episcopal General Secretary of Poland, Bishop Artur G. Mizinsky estimated that the year 2023 will be marked by further armed conflicts. The conflict in the Holy Land was added to the ongoing war in Ukraine, which resulted in even more victims of the civilian population: children, women and the elderly, he noted.

– Therefore, in the new year, let us ask the Lord even more earnestly for the gift of peace between nations. Let the exchange of fire stop, let the hostages regain their freedom, let the children have a normal childhood and let everyone experience peace and security – encouraged Bishop Mizinski.

– Let us ask the Prince of Peace to bring peace and reconciliation to the suffering land. May every day of the new year 2024 be permeated with his presence – wished the General Secretary of the Polish Bishops.

Episcopal spokesman: Let's open the love of God in the new year

Episcopal spokesman Fr. Leszek Gesiak admitted that the New Year, as always, gives us hope for a better tomorrow. – But what will happen if we do not turn to Jesus Christ? Only he can change the face of our land, plagued by armed conflicts, the death of innocent people and the despair of refugees who have been forced to flee their homes by hatred and violence. We trust only him that the fate of nations will change, he emphasized.

– So, let's trust and ask the Lord, who came to the world as the Prince of Peace, to fill people's hearts with love, respect and kindness towards others. In this new year, let us open ourselves to God's love so that it fills our homes, families and society – encouraged Fr. Goose.

– May God bless everyone every day of the New Year – wished the KP representative.
