The Eastern European Under-20 Championship (EEVZA) was held on January 10-14, 2024 in Gorzów Wielkopolsk. Poland, Latvia, Ukraine, Estonia and Azerbaijan took part in the event.
In the last round of matches, Poland defeated Azerbaijan 3-0 and qualified for the European Under-20 Championship, which will be held in Greece and Serbia at the end of August and September. The tournament held in Arena Gorzov ended with the match between Ukraine and Latvia. The 3-0 win gave the Ukrainian team second place in the EEVZA Championship, while Latvia finished third.
