Residents of the Greater Polish city of Shrem were woken up at night by the constant sound of car horns. As it turned out, a drunk man fell asleep at the wheel in one of the parked cars. He later explained that “his concubine threw him out of the apartment,” causing him to reach for alcohol and lose control.
In the night from Saturday to Sunday, around 2:00 a.m., the Shrem police officer on duty received a message from Fr. Popieloshko in Shrem. The report indicated that the person in the parked vehicle had been honking for about half an hour.
Shrem. The horn woke up the population. Extraordinary intervention of the police
When the police arrived at the scene, it was found that the man was sleeping in a closed Citroen. His head was on the steering wheel of the car. This man's sleep was so noisy that neither knocking on the windows nor moving the car could wake him up. It was also impossible to open the car.
Police called for help from firefighters, who smashed the passenger side windshield and woke the sleeping man with only a wave of his hand. He had almost two prolyl alcohols in his body. He reported to officers that his concubine had kicked him out of the apartment, causing him to consume alcohol and eventually fall asleep in the car.
The man was not injured and did not want medical attention. The police took away his car keys. The driver will be responsible for disturbing the peace at night. The police decided to go to court to punish the man.
