The 13th Commercial Division of the National Court Registry in Warsaw did not register the changes in the Management Board and Supervisory Board of TVP prior to the announcement of the liquidation of the company.

This refers to the appointment of Tomasz Sigut as President (currently CEO), who replaced Mateusz Matiszkowicz, and the Supervisory Board consisting of Piotr Zemla, Maciej Taborowski and Anisa Gnaczykowski. Before that, the chairman was Maciej Lopinski, the vice-chairman was Przemyslaw Tejkowski, and the member was Radoslaw Wloszek.

The rationale was related to the Constitutional Tribunal's decision to deprive the National Broadcasting Council of its authority to appoint public media and transfer it to the National Media Council.

“Major ad minus the decision of the Constitutional Tribunal does not constitute a basis for the conclusion that these competences have been assumed by the Minister exercising the corporate powers of the State Treasury as a shareholder of the company. In re, resolution appointing members. The general meeting of shareholders of the company's supervisory board and the resolution of the supervisory board on the appointment of the company's management board were adopted by an unauthorized body in accordance with the above provisions of UKRRiTV and also because of the provisions. The charter of TVP itself, in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Commercial Companies”, read the justification published on the x website by journalist Bartek Godusławski, deputy editor-in-chief of Business Insider Polska.

“The decision of the Warsaw Registry Court to refuse to disclose in the registry Tomasz Sigut as the President of the Board of Directors of TVP, due to the opening of the liquidation of the company and the expiration of the mandate of the President, refers to outdated data. The company should file an application in this regard and the court of registry should discontinue the proceedings. The National Court Register is a disclosure of current information, not historical information, wrote lawyer Katarzyna Bilewska on Website X.
