He is a journalist of the Polish edition of Deutsche Welle (financed from the German budget), previously a correspondent of DW in Warsaw. In his texts, Gvoje-Palokat mainly focused on domestic German politics, but also described the reaction of the German press to events in Poland.

“Do you support the methods used by the new government to take over public media?” – Poles were asked in the latest UCE Research survey. A survey commissioned by the portal Onet showed that the majority of Poles have a positive attitude towards the way Minister Sienkiewicz has taken over the public media.

The answer “definitely yes” was recorded by 26.9 percent. respondents, and “yes” – 25.9 percent, respectively, a total of 52.8 percent of respondents have a positive attitude towards how the PO took the media.

On the other hand, 32.3 percent of the respondents chose the answer “definitely not” (19.1%), and “more than not” – 13.2%. However, 14.9% have no idea.

About 60.3% of PiS voters. Respondents marked the options “not necessarily” and “rather not” – 16.2 percent. On the other hand, it was 2% in the electorate of PO. and 8.7 percent (more than 84% approve of the takeover). Among left-wing voters, more than 75 percent have a positive opinion of the actions of Sienkiewicz and Prime Minister Tusk, while less than 11 percent have a negative opinion. Confederation voters have quite different views: more than 55% evaluate the changes negatively, and more than 38% positively.
