Ukrainian volleyball players started the match effectively (1:6, 6:11). The Poles made up for the loss (11:11), but the visitors jumped back again when Mykola Kuts showed a good game (11:14). The home team reduced the gap once more and then took the initiative on the field. In the end, there was another run of points in this set, this time on the services of Blajej Bien. The result was determined by Jakub Kyedos, who finished the Poles' counterattack (25:19).

The second set was also a good opening for the Ukrainians (1:5), but the hosts responded with seven winning streaks (8:5). They quickly mastered the situation on the court and increased their advantage (16:10, 21:14). The Poles were more effective in attack, dominated in blocking and closed this part of the match with a double block (25:15).

The hosts dictated the beginning of the third part (5:2, 9:5). The middle part of the set was a fragment of a good game of the Ukrainian national team, which first established contact (15:14), and then compensated for the loss (16:16). The fate of the team was finally decided. After the scoring block, the hosts had the match ball (24:23), but the opponents took advantage. The Ukrainian national team won, and the last point was given by the attack error of the Poles (27:29).

The Poles started the next set successfully (5:2), but the guests managed to equalize the score (9:9). In the middle part of the set, both teams fought equally (12:12, 18:18). Ukrainians scored two points (18:20), but the hosts were lucky at the end. Blok gave the match ball (24:22), and Igor Rybak finished the match with an effective attack (25:23).
