You may have heard of a movie like: “Blade Runner” (“Blade Runner”)? There was quite a bit of talk about it. It is one of the most important cinematic works in the science fiction genre.

Such examples are, of course, more in science fiction cinema, where the vision of the future presented in them was significantly different from what actually happened.

The actors of “Immortals II: A New Life” did not like the script of the second part of “Immortals” neither the director, Russell Mulcahy, nor – which is even more sad. After reading the script, Christopher Lambert wanted out of the project, but alas – he signed a contract for further films about the slow-witted Scottish Highlander who can't die. Michael Ironside, who portrays General Katana with his usual delicacy, remarked in an interview that the script for the sequel to the 1980s cult film looked like it was written by a thirteen-year-old.
Without going into too much detail about the plot (which reminds me anyway “Something written by a thirteen-year-old boy”) I will focus only on the world presented here.
The year is 2024. The ozone layer is being destroyed. That's why the so-called “shields“, which aims to protect humanity from the deadly rays of the sun.
