Italian figure skaters Charlene Guignard and Marco Fabri defended the title of European champions in pairs dance in Kaunas. The silver medal was won by the British Lila Fear and Louise Gibson, and the bronze medal was won by Alison Reid and Saulius Ambrulevicius of the hosts.
Sofia Dohal and Victor Kulesa took the 26th place in rhythmic dance and did not move into the group of 20 couples who performed in the free program.

Gouniard and Fabry won their second consecutive European Championship gold medal in the absence of Olympic champions Gabriela Papadakis and France's Guillaume Cizeron, who are out for the second straight year.
It was the last competition of the Kaunas European Championship. On Saturday, Belgium's Loena Hendricks won the women's competition.
