The 89th plebiscite of Przegląd Sportowy and Polsat for the best Polish athlete is behind us. Iga Schwichtek won for the second time in a row. Bartosz Zmarzlik and Alexander Slivka completed the podium. How did the athletes nominated for the plebiscite vote?
The list of votes was published by Przegląd Sportowy. It turns out that the leader of the WTA ranking found recognition not only in the eyes of the fans, but also in the eyes of the players. In most of them, the 22-year-old was on the top step of the podium. We remind you that last year the tennis player from Racine again won the Roland Garros Grand Slam and the season-ending WTA Finals tournament.

In the best trios, Schwichtek often appeared next to Zmarzlik and Slivka. Both the speedway rider and the volleyball player had a number of successes last year. They also appreciated: Natalia Kaczmarek or Piotr Zhila.
There were some not-so-obvious suggestions as well. For example, Hubert Hurkach beat golfer Adrian Meronek to second place. Wojciech Nowicki awarded the second place to the Epee team (Renata Knapik-Miazga, Magdalena Pavlovska, Martina Swatowska-Venglarczyk, Eva Trzebinska).
