First of all, Poland will be represented in the Australian competition by the world's best tennis players – Iga Swichtek and Hubert Hurkac. The white-red team is completed by: Katarzyna Kava, Katarzyna Peter, Daniel Michalski and Jan Zielinski.

1. When is Iga Švetek playing in the United Cup?

18 teams were divided into six groups of three teams. Groups A (with Poland), C and E will compete in Perth, the rest – in Sydney. The group winners will advance to the quarter-finals, as will one of the best runners-up in each city.

The United Cup will be the opening event of the season and the first test before the Grand Slam Australian Open, which starts on January 14. There will be 500 points each in the ATP and WTA rankings in Sydney and Perth.
