The Polish tennis player lost the first set of this edition of the United Cup only in the semi-finals. It happened against Carolyn Garcia. Before that, she defeated Beatriz Haddad Maia, Sarah Soribes Tormo and Qinwen Zheng to nil. He will be the favorite once again on Sunday.

On the other side of the net will be Kerber, who, for a change, won her first United Cup semi-final match. She beat Alija Tomljanovic in three sets. He played against Schwietek only once – in 2022 he lost 1:2.
18 teams participated in United. First, they competed in six groups, and from the quarter-finals on, the competition is held in a cup system.
The prize fund of this year's edition is 10 million USD. This amount includes both so-called starting points and individual bonuses for winning individual matches and team bonuses for results in groups and overall competitions.
Participants also receive ranking points at a similar level to the WTA and ATP 500 tournaments, but with minimal differences depending on the position of the defeated opponents.
In the previous United Cup draw, Poland reached the semi-finals, where they lost to the USA.
